In an ill-fated incident, at least 12 people were killed and 10 others sustained injuries in a head-on collision between a passenger van and a car in Khairpur on Wednesday.
As per the details garnered, a passenger van heading towards Khairpur from Sukkur car collided at Babraloi Bypass in Khairpur, resultantly, 12 people were killed and 11 others wounded.
Khairpur Deputy Commissioner Fawad Shah said that three bodies were shifted to Khairpur Hospital and nine to Sukkur Hospital, while an emergency has been imposed in Civil Hospital after the accident.

According to the police, the identity of the deceased in the accident has not yet been ascertained.
