ATC orders release of PTM activist Imaan Mazari

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad approved bail and ordered the release of PTM activists of Imaan Mazari.

Her bail was accepted on submission of surety bonds worth Rs10,000.

A case was registered against Iman Mazari in Bara Kahu police station under terrorism provisions and other provisions.

The case was heard by Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abul Hasanat Zul-Qarnain. At the request of Imaan’s lawyers, the court reduced the bail to Rs. 10,000 and ordered her release.

A day earlier, Imaan Mazari was sent on a 14-day judicial remand by an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad.

Mazari was presented in Judge Abul Hasnaat Zulqurnain’s court after her three-day physical remand ended. Her mother, former federal minister Shireen Mazari, was also present in court on Friday.
