Delhi minister Atishi will take over as the new chief minister of India’s national capital territory after the resignation of incumbent Arvind Kejriwal, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party said on Tuesday.
Kejriwal announced their resignation as Delhi Chief Minister on Sunday two days after the party selected a new chief minister.
Kejriwal announced his resignation in his address to workers at the party headquarters in the capital New Delhi.
