Canada’s Defence Minister asserted that allegations over the killing of a Khalistani should be investigated.

He also called the relationship with India important.

The statement comes days after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau exposed India at the global diplomatic theater after the murder of Khalistani leader—Hardeep Singh Nijjar—a Canadian citizen y the Indian agents violating the severity of Canada.

Defence Minister Bill Blair was quoted as saying by Global News: “We understand that this can be, and has proven to be, a challenging issue with respect to our relationship with India. But at the same time, we have the responsibility to make sure that we conduct a thorough investigation and get to the truth.”

“If the allegations are proven true, there is a very significant concern that Canada will have with respect to the violation of our sovereignty,” he added.

Earlier, top US diplomat David Cohen claimed that it was the shared intelligence among ‘Five Eyes’ partners that had prompted Justin Trudeau go public with his big charge against India.
