While acknowledging the Afghan government’s efforts against the banned TTP, she emphasised the necessity of bringing an end to their activities operating from shelters within Afghanistan.
Negotiations on security matters with the Afghan transit administration are currently in progress, she added.
Providing updates on recent policy changes, Baloch mentioned Pakistan’s implementation of a travel policy from November 1, requiring valid documentation, including a mandatory visa for Afghan truck drivers crossing the border and Pakistani embassy in Kabul is actively facilitating the process.
