A furious Patrick Mahomes stormed through the Kansas City Chiefs locker room, giving a fierce new meaning to the proverb “Be careful what you wish for,” after the Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 27–24 in the divisional round on Sunday in Orchard Park.
The Chiefs will now face the Ravens in Sunday’s American Football Conference (AFC) Championship game in Baltimore, marking Mahomes’ second-ever road playoff game.
Before Sunday’s face-off, Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins fanned the flames on one of the league’s best rivalries, remarking how Mahomes, 28, hasn’t experienced Bills Mafia “in full.”

Despite the snowstorm on Sunday, Mahomes expressed positive remarks about the road environment, despite snowballs being hurled in his direction at the end.
“First of all, this is a great environment, man,” Mahomes said. “It really is. We did hear it all week, man, about playing a road game, and we’re here to prove a point and show that we can play anywhere.”
