Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari had discussed the political landscape of the centre and Punjab.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting with PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif. Zardari was also flanked by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari during the 45-minute-long meeting with the former prime minister at the residence of interim Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore.
Shehbaz Sharif had also conveyed an important message from PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif to Asif Ali Zardari.
In the meeting, matters in line with power sharing were also discussed.
The discussions were also held to pick up the prime minister and finalise the names of the key federal ministeries.
Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari played vital roles in the formation of the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) government.
