In a demonstration of solidarity with farmers in India, a very large number of Sikhs gathered outside the Indian Embassy in Washington. The protesters, led by Sikh organizations, raised slogans and banners condemning the alleged injustices faced by farmers in India.

Amidst the chanting of slogans calling for justice, Sikhs placed Khalistan flags onto the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, symbolizing their discontent with the Indian government’s handling of the situation.

Dr. Bhakshish Singh Sandhu, representing the Sikh for Justice organization, spoke to the media, highlighting the reported use of force against farmers, including gunfire and tear gas.

The protest, marked by a peaceful yet passionate atmosphere, underscored the growing concern over the treatment of farmers in India.
