The Turkish interior minister on Sunday afternoon claimed that two individuals carried out a suicide bomb attack in front of the ministry buildings in Ankara, leaving two policemen injured.

He mentioned that one of them died in the explosion, and the other was “neutralized” by authorities. “Our struggle will continue until the last terrorist is neutralised,” Yerlikaya wrote.

The Turkish media had earlier mentioned an explosion near the parliament and ministerial buildings. Ali Yerlikaya, the minister, stated on the social media platform X that two police officers sustained slight injuries in the incident.
