Two terrorists were martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday, the Inter-Services Public Relations said.
The martyred soldiers were identified as Sepoy Abdullah, 25, a resident of KP’s Mardan, and Sepoy Muhammad Sohail, 19, a resident of Tharparkar in Sindh.
In a statement, the military’s media wing said that one terrorist was killed in the gun battle.
Sanitisation of the surrounding areas was being carried out to neutralise any terrorists found in the area, the ISPR added.
“Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.”
