Israeli air strikes on a Gaza hospital, al-Ahli Arab Hospital, compound on Tuesday killed at least 500 people, the health ministry in the Palestinian territory said, Al Jazeera reported.

Hassan Khalaf, the medical director of the hospital, about one kilometer (less than a mile) from al-Ahli Arab, says the hospital “is still burning” after Israel’s attack.
Khalaf said that thousands of Palestinians have been injured in the continuing Israeli bombardment and there is no safe place left.
Palestinian authorities described the attack as a “war crime”.

Around 3,50 people have been killed in Israeli air strikes across the Gaza Strip since the war erupted on October 7.
More than 1,400 people in Israel have been killed, the majority gunned down by Hamas who crossed from Gaza and attacked border communities.
