The interim government has increased the price of petrol in Pakistan by Rs14.91 per liter, marking it as the highest one ever achieved in the country’s history.
The caretaker government announced an increase of Rs14.91 in the price of petrol, taking the price to Rs305.36.
The price of diesel has been increased by Rs18.44 to Rs311.84.
The prices of kerosene and light diesel have not been changed.
The Finance Division said the hike was due to the “increasing trend of petroleum prices in the international market and exchange rate variations”.
