October in Karachi to be very hot: Met dept

Recent winds pollutes air quality of port city

Karachi Meteorological Department has forecasted very hot weather for port city residents for the month of October including intense heat for the next four to five days.

As per the Karachi weather office, the mercury could touch 40 degrees Celsius. Karachi Chief Meteorological Department Sardar Sarfraz said that sea breezes to discontinue.

Recent winds polluted the air quality and now the entire month will be subject to intense heat.

It is relevant to note that the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Thursday issued a stern warning to all district administrations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a new series of heavy rains, accompanied by strong winds, is set to descend upon the region starting today.

With the impending weather changes expected to impact the region from today onwards, the PDMA has urged district authorities to take immediate precautionary measures to safeguard lives and property.
