The Left Democratic Front Karachi and civil society activists on saturday to protest against the ongoing military offensive in Gaza.
The participants gathered on the Presss Club in Karachi, shouting “Free Palestine”.
Many held Palestinian flags.
“Save Gaza”, “Stop genocide” and “Ceasefire” were emblazoned on marchers’ placards.
The participants, protested outside the Karachi Press Club against the Israeli bombing of Gaza.
“Israel’s war on Gaza is not self-defense, but a well-thought-out plan for the genocide of the Palestinians,” said Leili Raza, leader of the left-wing Democratic Front.
“We strongly condemn the aggression of the Israeli army. Israeli forces martyred hundreds of civilians, including many children and women. Why is Israeli brutality invisible to the world?”
The international community must take permanent steps to resolve the Palestinian conflict, Laila said.
