Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi has won hearts off the field for his gestures. This time he met Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah and gave him a gift for his son.
“Shaheen Afridi delivers smiles to new dad Jasprit Bumrah,” wrote the Pakistan Cricket Board in a post on X on Sunday. The PCB also shared a video clip where Shaheen gave Bumrah the gift. They met after the high-voltage Pakistan and India match was called off due to rain.

They have named their son Angad.
“Congratulations. This is a small gift for the little prince,” said Shaheen as he delivered the gift to the Indian pacer. “I thought I should give him. May Allah always keep him happy and he becomes the new Bumrah.”
Bumrah in reply thanked and shook hands with Shaheen. He described the gesture as “very sweet”.
